hi all

yesterday after my first charge while MBP was off and the magsafe light was green i unplugged the charger and switched on my MBP. It said the battery level was 97% should this no been 100%. Or is it because its the first charge, that i need to let it drain out completely once more and then charge it fully for it to show 100%?

thanks in advance

Lots and lots of threads about this on here. Have a search.
Your Mac can't measure the battery capacity very accurately, so the 97% or whatever is just a guess. Draining/recharging your battery will make the guess more accurate for a short while, but won't actually increase the capacity of your battery. Don't worry about it. Just use your Mac.
