A brand new MBP that comes cheaper than a mid-line MacBook. Scam. Give it a pass, and keep your money.

If you're in the market for a MacBook Pro but don't have the funds yet, keep saving, and keep an eye on the refurbished products in the Apple online store.

Plzzzzz i Paid nearly 2.3k for a machine with those specs (educational discount :p) and they want to let it go for 1.2k?

Then again, it may be for quick, like very quick sale, so if they wanna meet locally, its worth the shot.

100% guaranteed genuine scam. Come on now.

I can't believe they're stupid enough to advertise it for $1200.. but then again, there's always people who'll go for it, so I guess it's not so very stupid...

Anyway, there's a chance it's not a scam, and if it's not, it means that it's stolen.

Yeap It is from craiglist...
I've sent an email but no reply yet... so I'll see if he/she wants to meet up.:apple::D

It shows a picture of a new box and everything...

Yeah, it takes them a couple of days to respond.

Next, they'll say that they're out of the country at the moment and would love to go through with this transaction. Blah blah blah... ship it... blah blah blah... leave money with third-party that they know of and are well respected.
