Whenever I watch a movie on YouTube or VLC and go into full screen mode my screen goes all haywire, turns white and freezes up. Then I'm forced to turn the computer off with the 8 second power button hold. After turning the power back on my screen is filled with scan lines on the load up screen with the apple logo and loads to a white screen where it doesn't lead anywhere.
Has anyone got any solutions? I've ran a hardware diagnostic and it gave me the ok. Also when I try to run it in safe mode it just goes to the white screen. The MBP sometimes loads properly but I have to give it a few tries. I want a permenant fix for this frustrating problem.
