I’ve replaced the HDD in an early 2008 MBP with a Seagate drive and have suffered with parking heads, spin up/down issues ever since. This is really affecting the performance of the drive (I’ve really noticed performance whilst running Lion on an external drive that doesn’t suffer this issue), despite having run the script to keep the drive at a constant spin speed.

Are there any drives on the market, apart from SSD’s, that play nicely with the MBP and won't cause the head to constantly park?
