OK so my MBP has shipped today (I got the shipping email from apple)

and ofcourse in typical fedex fashion they don't have any info on it!

Tried simple tracking too no luck...I just want to know where my baby is!!!!!!!!

FedEx here is awesome.... I ordered an MBP, a couple of keyboards and a copy of Leopard for my MacPro.... the keyboards and Leopard arrived first, I told the driver I was expecting a few more packages over the next few days... He gave me his cellphone #! Told me to call him as soon as the tracking system showed the package was in San Diego, and he would tell me the exact time he would be at my door....

Only "problem"? the FedEx hub is only a few miles away.....:D
So he was knocking on my door, at almost the same instant the tracking computer was updated!!!

my mbp shipped 3/4 and and said "in transit" in Reno, NV from 3/5 at noon until tonight at 5pm when it finally updated as being in CT.

I'm in the same boat.

All FedEx has on their site for me is "6:32 AM - Package data transmitted to FedEx"

it sucks, and simple tracking doesn't have it either!

When I ordered my MB It got stuck in alaska for some customs stuff...and now my MBP is getting nothing! DAHH!

That's normal though. There will always be a lag between when it actually ships and when it shows on the website tracker. But, damn why is it taking more then 15 hours to update after it left origin?

There are two different UPS guys working my area. One of them is very cool and drops off my packages in the AM when he drives past my house. The other one waits until the late afternoon as per instructed by the company (residential packages take second to business ones). So, whenever the nicer guy is on shift I get my packages in the morning around 9am which is awesome, but when the other guy is on I get my stuff around 6-7pm :(
