Hi!

I am considering buying a MPB from Amazon, and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the hard drive later. I'd like to replace it with a 250GB running at 7200RPM.

Thank you!

For a previous MacBook Pro that I had, I upgraded to a 250 GB hard drive and sent it into MacService.com. Wonderful job, price a bit steep, but I'm really not that handle on doing jobs like this on my own. :)

Now, this MacBook Pro is with another proud and satisfied owner. :)

Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it!

I know people around here are tired of members who do not use the search forums feature, but can we be a little nicer here about this?

Search is a good thing, I know I like personal opinion though, up to date personal opinion, things change.:D In my opinion get the drive do it yourself, it always possible to upgrade later i suggest you wait for the M6 spinpoint from samsung 500GB.

Cheers

hey fredrickyoon,

if you use macservice.com, does this void the warranty?

either the regular warranty or apple care?

thanks
