Mbp - Hdtv? Acd?

Hi folks,

I'm looking to get my MBP a little more legs by getting a bigger external screen for it. I'm inclined to get an LCD TV instead of a pure monitor, in order to be able to get full use of it in the room. Any recommendations for a 32" TV? Will I lose any picture quality vs. an ACD? Does a DVI-HDMI cord do the trick?

Unless you're using that 32 inch TV to watch movies and videos, everything else will look distorted and blocky, because LCD TVs generally have lower resoultions than computer LCD monitors. I would opt for a 30 inch Dell LCD display, you can use it as a computer monitor, and it has a myriad of inputs, so the display can be utilized as a television as well.
