My MBP hasn't had a problem indexing after the first install of Lion. Everytime I restart my computer or turn it on, it starts to index again.

This happens EVERY time I turn it on now, which just started yesterday, about a month after installing lion. I let it finish each and every time, and still it continues to reindex itself on startup.

Does this have anything to do with the new update I installed for the Raw compatibility support for the cameras? It is the only thing I have done recently on this machine.

How can I check if mine does that ? Thx

It isn't suppose to but your spotlight icon will have a dot in the center, also your activity monitor will be showing high cpu usage.

Now this is occurring on my iMac as well, with lion.
