Hi guys.

I was in iTunes library in my MBP and I accidentally hit the sort by "Time" on top of the playlist.

Now all my orders are messed up.

Is there a way to fix this back to the way I wanted?
I do have backup on my iPhone and iPod.

Thanks.

click at the top of the number column in the top left of the table, when in list view?

I can't see how clicking the number at the top of the left doesn't fix it? That puts mine all back in order.

There isn't something else that you did that might have reordered the tracks?

It may help to tell us how your tracks were ordered in the first place.

I just ordered them on my own like the way I wanted.
Nothing was selected on the top.

After I clicked the check mark, time duration, etc, I cant seem to move my music in my playlist.

This is the bar Im talking about.

You see where there is a check box to the left? And there is like an open space next to it? Click that square space and a direction arrow will appear. Now you should be able to move your songs around in Playlist. idk why but

When Apple changed to the mono chrome color, its hard to tell what is what in iTunes. :(

I clicked both up and down but I cant move my music...

Also if you're in the playlist you can just drag the tracks around to put them back in the order you want.

Which way does the arrow should go up?
Because up or down my music cant be moved.
When I try to drag them, they just move back to the original position.

depends what heading you click if you want it sorted by artist then arrow down is A to Z arrow up is Z-A, you can sort by album name, genre, time, any heading you click it will sort by that category

Until yesterday, I was able to sort on my own.
I was able to drag the music in my own ordering.
But after I hit that button by accident, I cant do it...

It's a two step process.

Select a Playlist
1. Click on the √ (check mark) next to Name. Do this once.

2. Next Click the empty box to the left of the √ (check). This will display a triangle. When you see it, you are able to move your songs in your playlist.

For some reason Apple changed the look. Before it was labeled. Now it's hidden.

Click this image link and notice the corner.... Triangle - Check mark - Name
