I have a MacBook pro that is about two months old. My keyboard illumination functions properly (as in it turns on in low lighting and not in bright lighting) but the illumination itself is always dim! I have the illumination turned up to its brightest and it is still incredibly dim. I've even downloaded Lab Tick and have that up at its highest level.. still dim.
My roommate has the same computer, and her keyboard illumination gets much brighter than mine. The brightest mine seems to get is comparable to about two ticks up the light scale on hers.
Anyone have any ideas? Is there something wrong with the sensors? or the led's themselves?
