MBP late 2008 2.4ghz won't switch on

Hey,

I'm away from home and I've gone to switch my MacBook Pro on but it won't switch on.

I removed the battery before I travelled as I thought I wouldn't need it, now it won't switch on.

Has anyone had any problems like this before? Does anyone have any advice for me to try and fix it?!

Sorry, I didn't make it clear.....I don't have the battery with me.

Why didn't you think you would need the battery for it? But unless you can get hold of your battery I doubt you could turn it on.

I thought that would be the case. I don't use my MBP on the train, that's what my iPad is for.
