I still have this relic computer and am waiting on the 14". I just purchased my 5th power cord - they frey at the end near the computer plug in so easily. What are some ways to stabilize it to reduce wear and tear where the cord joins the plug piece? There is not a lot of room because the cord sits parallel against the computer and the joiner portion hits the bottom of the side of the screen portion.

Never grab by the cord, always hold by the magnetic connector that plugs into the MacBook.
