I bought my MBP right after they were released as I was starting college.
It's a Yonah, and therefore has a 2GB ram limit, which isn't really sufficient for running virtual machines(XP for Ubuntu) and I'd really like to be able to run 4GB of RAM.
I see that on eBay I can pick up a Penryn logic board for less than the difference than what I could sell this for.
Could the logic board just be swapped and stuff? Or will that result in some compatibility/no ability issues?
Thanks!
If not, what do you think a reasonable resale value is for my Macbook Pro? The specs are in the signature.
