I know I missed the boat on this one, but I just purchased a used late 2008 15" MBP. The thing runs great and is cosmetically flawless except for the battery cover doesn't latch all the way. I looked up a few threads on here and they all seem to be cured by bending the tabs slightly. I have tried this but had no luck because I think my problem is that the clasp is loose in the back rather than the front. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had this same issue and has been able to fix it. (pics below)
