As it says.. is there anyway that i can tell when its been made ?

It should be in your battery compartment area (remove the battery and look at the info with the mac addy and serial).

But I can't check since I have my incase on

Actually, the info is in the serial number (which you can use Apple > About this Mac to see). There are web pages that will tell you what each digit mean, but I can't find any that work at the moment. I'm sure someone else will have one.

try this and put your serial number in

http://support.apple.com/specs/

also if you go to 'about this mac' and click twice on the grey text of the OS info just above software update it will give you your serial number without having to take the battery out.
