I have just finished playing a game, when I play a game I usually turn the fans up to Max with smc; I noticed that my left fan was making a rattling sound, so I adjusted smc to just have the left fan at 6000rpm and the right at 2000rpm. The noise was still there. So I tried it the other way around and the noise went away so I know it is my left fan.

The left fan makes this noise on or after 3500rpm. It sounds like a ball bearing vibrating.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, how do I "fix" it?

If it is the rattling sound that I had from my fans, it gets worse. Take it to the Apple Store and have it fixed.

I second this. Never mess around when you have a fan issue. Always take it to the Apple store as soon as possible.
