Hello

a brief history, then my problem.

in 2017 I updated MacBook Pro’s battery... a few weeks later my ram broke, so I upgraded the ram, then my hard drive went, so I replaced that...then a few weeks later I booted my MacBook and after a few mins it would power off, this would keep happening with no idea why.

yesterday I decided to clean the MacBook Pro from all the dust and rubbish from the inside. I took everything apart and cleaned it. I found the cpu and gpu had powdery thermal paste, so I replaced that.

I then booted my MacBook Pro up and I got the ram error bleeps again. I took out the upgraded ram and put back in the 2gb ram and my Mac booted up, I have had it on for 12 hours or so and it hasn’t turned off and is running great.

now my new problem is the right hand hinge as you look at the MacBook, when you close the screen the glue has come unstuck and won’t close correctly or square as it separates slightly. I thought hot glue might help, which it has done up until a few opening/closing.

any ideas how to fix this problem there isn’t much room to do much.
