So recently my macbook has been acting up. When I attempt the start the macbook up I get a black screen, and the fan starts w/ the hard drive but nothing on the screen. The keyboard doesn't light up but commands like Shift-Ctrl-Option-Power work. I tried to reset the PRAM when the mac decides to work but soon as I put it into sleep or shutdown the problem starts again unless I'm lucky. Also last night every time i plug the charger and the mac is off it starts up. I can paste a link for the console if anyone can tell me whats going on.
I went to the apple store and they informed me everything is fine. I did a hardware test and nothing seems to be broken. Its most likely a software issue but I don't want to reset the Mac if I don't have to. Please Help!!
