Hello all!

I have a 13" 2011 macbook pro. Today my Macbook Pro wouldn't turn on. I plugged in 2 different chargers and neither worked (no charging or LED light on cable). A couple of times the charger LED light did turn green but then slowly faded until it was no longer on (maybe 20-30 seconds). I tried both chargers on another macbook pro in the house and they worked just fine. So I am assuming it is a hardware issue with the actual macbook pro.

Other things I have tried:
Cleaning connections with clean toothbrush (no liquids obviously)

Any help????

For battery, power, or charging issues, you might try resetting the SMC. (PRAM/NVRAM has nothing to do with these issues. Resetting it will not help.)

If that doesn't help, take it to Apple and let them diagnose the problem.

The link below should answer most, if not all, of your battery/charging questions. If you haven't already done so, I highly recommend you take the time to read it.

Unfortunately I can't turn the machine on todo this. Can't get any charge.
