Little used 13 inch MBP 2015 with 1Tb sad and 16 Gb ram worked perfectly until I went to do Power point presentation today and only the background screen image projected (mountain range in High Sierra)
The icons from my files on desktop would not show. Also power point image on screen would not project only seeing the mountain image from desktop

Checked the Thunderbolt to vga connector and it worked normally in another PC (HP)
Not sure what’s up as MBP otherwise faultless ?

Did you have it set for Presenter view under slide show?
Not sure. Will check that when I am back at work in morning and have access to projector again

Thanks for fast reply

Try going to System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement > and check the box for Mirror Displays and see if that helps
