I was using my non-unibody MPB last night. Closed the screen before dinner, opened the screen after dinner, and found the computer wouldn't turn on. Tried pressing the power button and all I got was the machine turning on then the front light flickers quickly for about 4 seconds then the laptop turns off. Anyone has experience this problem before?

Tried the SMC reset, didn't work.

Basically if I hold the power button the front light comes on then flickers for a few seconds.

If I just press the power button the light comes on then turns off right away.

Already check the RAM to make sure the sticks are sitting correctly. I'm going to bring it in an Apple Store later today. Hopefully it's not a logic board issue. :(

Great...

How much is it usually to replace the logic board? I've heard about $1000. For that price I might as well get a new one....
