I plugged the USB cord into my MBP, and although the MBP recognizes the printer, the printer does nothing when I try to print something. It's always "connecting".

Aren't printers usually plug and play? I also couldn't find specific drivers for the MP620 on Canon's website.

Can anyone help me out?

EDIT: seems like the Canon is trying to print wirelessly even though it's hooked up to the computer...

I don't have the printer and canon doesn't provide a PDF manual so I can't view it on the phone, but one suggestion is to check out the printer settings on the printer itself. Maybe you can toggle wifi on and off. I'm also not sure if osx has built in drivers for the mp620 so you might have to download them from the canon website.

Canon doesn't have any drivers for it.
