I can get for (more or less the same price) the following:

1) 2017 MBP 13’’ nTB with i5 / 16GB / 512GB
2) 2017 MBP 13’’ nTB with i7 / 16GB / 256GB
3) 2017 MBP 13’’ TB with i5 / 16GB / 256GB

Use: internet, social media, photography, music, emails, Skype. 256 would be just fine for my needs (currently using an SSD since 2010 and stored 130GB worth of stuff so 256 should serve me well).

Need to last for another 5-6 years. Current MBP is from 2010.

Always used at home (don’t travel).

Which one should I get? Not a big fan of the TB, but is 3) effectively faster in day to day use than 2) even if it sports an i5 rather than an i7 because it’s clocked at a higher frequency? I am also worried that the battery of 3) will be quite poor compared to 1) and 2).

Assuming that 256GB is enough for my needs (only I can answer this), can you please rank the 3 options if price was not a problem?
