Recently my MacBook Pro (13 in. mid 2010) will shut down when I close the lid. It doesn't always happen but it happens probably a few times a day. I open and close my MBP a decent amount because I use it for class, work, and at home and close it to change clases and move around the house. When I open it up and the display doesn't cut back on right away I have to hold down the power button for longer than usual to get it to cut back on again.

Also, for what it's worth, everything else seems to be working just fine.

I searched the forums for a while and the only topic I found that seemed to be on point was from 2008 so I thought it was worth starting a new thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: For what it's worth it may not actually be "shutting down" it doesn't have the start up noise when I hold down the power button but it does go the the grey screen load.
