I have had a G4 1.33Ghz Powerbook for two years now, which has lasted me well, apart from the inconvience of having to use VP for AutoCAD. However with the new intel chips and bootcamp running windows i think it is the right time to upgrade.
The problem is im stuck as to which model to buy?
Is the MBP 17" too hot to use on your lap? if so it kinds of defeats most of the freedom of having 'laptop'. However i don't understand why the iMAC doesn't use a higher processor than the MBP?will they be updating the iMAC in the near future?
