MBP order delayed a month. because of MBP update???

So A friend of mine ordered through his school a new mbp. His order was due yesterday, but he just received an email saying it would be another month.
Im thinking this is due to the new coming MBP's! The school has to get in the new MBP's to format them with the school email and programs. (when I was there I bought my computer throught the school) He has waited 2 months... to wait another for a newer, better machine, to me is worth it!

but it is a custom, because it is through the school. they order a bunch of computers through apple and then load them up with word, ps, ai, ect...

It's your school that is delayed a month then. On the Apple site they are shipping within 24 hours. However I do hope there is a nice update.

Yeah, the OP of that other thread had his MBP order delayed because of the laptop case. So, he removed it and the ship time dropped from 1 month to 1-3 days.
