Hey everyone,

I ordered an MBP by phone, with the education discount. I have an canadien address and the shipment and billing address are canadien too (Canada, Ontario).
As a payment option I choosed "Wire Transfer".

Apple told me the total price on the phone and I checked it online in my order status. The price is the same they told me to 'wire transfer'.
But it states "Estimated Tax: $0.00".

I have not recieved a confirmation email yet, as apple told me, that I will recieve one after the wire transfer (which is done by my canadien bank).

I am just wondering how it will work. Cause when I transfered the money they will ship it right? - Thats what they said. - But what happens with the tax?

As I have to pay at least 25 $ for every wire transfer, I dont want to have to make an extra transfer for the tax.

Can anyone please help? Thanks.

PS: I thought about changing the payment method. One apple hotline told me it would be possible, another hotline said i would have to make a new order (which i dont want, as I ordere Ipods as well, with the black friday discount which they offered in canada too).

Cheers!

You will have to pay tax. It will appear on the next email you get from apple. There will only be one charge, including the taxes.

Who uses Wire Transfers nowadays? What year is it?

Actually, I dont even know what wire transfer was. But they dont take international credit cards, so how to pay?

For certified cheques I have to pay even more and then send it by mail, which takes even longer.

So how does a wire transfer work then, that i only have to pay once? I dont know the total with tax, only without.

Do you have to be in university or a college to get the education discount or can you get it if your in high school?

If you live near Brantford ON. There is a authorized Apple dealer on the Indian reserve. They don't collect tax. $2149 MBP out the door

How does it work if you pay by CC in Canada?

Will you have a total price shown? and Taxes?
Will it change when the order is shipped?

Does anybody have the routing information from Apple Canada?

I mean the adresse of Apple Canada and their Branch?

- I called the Hotlines several times - but nobody was able to tell me.
