Hi...

I'm getting my new MBP 2.4GHz Penryn (15" LCD) this Monday. I've been reading the tech sheet on Apple's website. Said that this MBP is fully supporting Apple Cinema Display 30" LCD.

The thing is, they say ACD 30" needs a dual-link DVI. what does that means?
What do i need to get so that i can connect this MBP using the ACD 30"? Do i need to buy 2 DVI-output cable? Or just get 1, plug it between MBP-ACD, and done? (because i do realize, MBP only has 1 video out port).

Thanks!

Don't worry. Dual link DVI in layman terms is just a DVI-port that supports bigger resolutions and all MBPs are equipped with one. When you buy your 30" ACD you just need to hook the cable that follows in the box to your MBP and you're good to go.

You need absolutely nothing. Just plug the display into the MBP:) The MacBook Pro has a dual-link DVI port (it's one physical connection), the MacBook does not.
