MBP performance question

I am heavily debating whether to get the 2.4 or the 2.53 macbook pro. My main concern is CPU and graphics with the 256mb vram on the 2.4 vs the 512 on the 2.53 for gaming.

the rest like RAM and harddrive space i can easily upgrade in the future. is there going to be a huge performance difference with games?

IMO, it is worth the extra $, if you can afford it, to get the 2.53 model.

it wud be best but the problem is here in canada its going to cost me $2699+tax. the 2.4 will save me $600. i just need to know the difference in performance with steam games. thanx
