MBP plays start-up tone, plays every few seconds, then crasheds

Hi, I have searched the internet for help, and all I could find was that the RAM is not installed.

I was simply using my MBP, syncing my phone and I started up a video and then my mac crashed. It failed to restart automatically, so I turned it on manually, and since then it simply plays the start up tone every few seconds whilst on a dark grey screen, with no logo.

Could someone help me out?
