MBP power adapter for MB?

I have a MocBook, and my partner has a MacBook Pro. I know that my (MB) adapter can safely be used on his MBP (although it will take longer to charge the battery than the correct adapter), but does anyone know if I can safely use his MBP adaptor on my MB?

Yes, the MacBook will draw only the power it needs from the 85W adapter.
