My first ac charger malfunctioned a couple of months ago. I both a generic one on ebay as a backup charger. Later on I got genuine one off of ebay. I noticed that whenever I plugged in main my ac adapter on my power strip I recently noticed that the light won't come on. I tried plugging the adapter into another hole on the power strip and it worked. Is it recommended to plug in the adapter to a power strip? Is it recommended that I plug the adapter directly to a wall outlet?

I almost always have mine plugged into a power strip, correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe that is actually recommended.
