Very quick query. I have a mid-2007 MacBook Pro: is the current MacBook Pro's mag-safe wall power supply thingy (technical term there!) exactly the same as my mid-2007 one? In other words, if I buy a current MBP power supply I'm not going to blow-up, melt, electrocute or otherwise screw up my machine?

Thanks! :)

It will work just fine.

I use my roommate's 2007 magsafe 85W supply with my 2009 uMBP and he uses my magsafe adapter with his MBP. I also use my girlfriend's 2008 65W magsafe adapter as well. They all work just fine. The 65W just takes longer to charge.

Cool thanks v much. The 60W one working without any detriment to the battery or anything really surprised me actually!
