Afternoon all,

I've a 2018 2.3 ghz quad core i5 MBP, I wonder if these kind of temps are "usual"? I'm in a teams video call, with Edge and Outlook also running.

The CPU Core PECI has peaked at 90 when I exported a final cut pro project.

I moved from a Surface Pro some months ago, and have noticed my MBP is noticeably warmer when on my lap, but are these expected/normal temps for a 2018 MBP or are some ports blocked/need cleaning?

Interested to compare what 2020 MBP Pro owners see?

Teams video is extremely processor intensive regardless of what computer you're using. If the computer were really overheating it'd shut itself down.

You should see my Mid 2015 15" when both the CPU AND GPU are going...let's just say it hangs out at 95C-99C. I have repasted it multiple times and that's the best I can get it to
