MBP Question about 9400/9600

Hi i was just wondering i managed to get a late 2008 unibody macbook pro very cheap, only thing is does it always choose to boot with the 9600GT? as there is only a few times when i would need it gaming etc but 90% of the time its music in itunes surfing etc and dont see the point in using the 9600 and would prefer the battery life...

i never had this issue with my ibook g4 lol

i have read in a previous post there is an app that allows switching without having to log out also...gonna look into this and see if it will work with my new baby

It defaults to the 9400M out-the-box unless you do a manual switch. It also remembers your last setting till you change it again.

Youngmac - cheers for that i did come across your post and tried the app listed but it never swapped over removed it and rebooted and tried it now and its working great
