Hi i was just wondering i managed to get a late 2008 unibody macbook pro very cheap, only thing is does it always choose to boot with the 9600GT? as there is only a few times when i would need it gaming etc but 90% of the time its music in itunes surfing etc and dont see the point in using the 9600 and would prefer the battery life...

i never had this issue with my ibook g4 :D lol

i have read in a previous post there is an app that allows switching without having to log out also...gonna look into this and see if it will work with my new baby :D

cheers in advance

It defaults to the 9400M out-the-box unless you do a manual switch. It also remembers your last setting till you change it again.

aw cheers for that :D will keep that in mind :D

has anyone for an app for switching without logging out - not even sure this is possible :D but hey worth a shot :D
