So there isn't any difference besides the 2.6ghz option?

Do they get a new keyboard layout like the MB does?

Are they still doing the upgrade disc thingy rather than pre-installing Leopard?

Thanks in advance

anyone? It will only take a couple seconds for someone who recently bought a MBP... It would mean a lot to me as I plan to take the plunge tomorrow morning. Thanks!

I don't know for sure because I bought my SR MBP before Leopard came out, but I'm 95% it's the exact same computer except has a faster CPU.

I got mine the week after leopard came out.

No new keyboard

2.6 GHz option

200GB @ 7200rpm HDD for +$275

thats about it. and mine came with a leopard drop-in.

Getting new MBP

My new MBP should be arriving on Thursday. I purchased the 2.4GHz 15". I'll report on how Leopard is shipped when I receive it, if you wish.

Got the new meachine this morning

Received my first Mac today, ahead of schedule. Leopard is a drop-in still. Tiger is preloaded and then you have to upgrade

The keyboard is the same as previous ones. The only difference is the bump in processor speed, if you decide to choose it.

Leopard now comes preinstalled (A friend of mine received her machine today).
