MBP really hot / sleep mode?

HEy guys, my macbook pro (2010) keeps goign to sleep mode for no reason, did a few times now, and i realize its really hot and today is a hot day, not sure if this is normal thing it does if temp gets too hot, also any recommendation on a temp/fan software for win7?
