MBP Recent custom configuration order: Tahoe or Sequoia

Has anyone here received a new MBP M4 in the past few days?

Did it come with Tahoe or Sequoia?

I ordered a 14" MBP M4 Pro so that I could have a modern machine that would still run Sequoia. I figure it will come with Tahoe and I'll have to put it in DFU mode to downgrade it, but maybe I'll get lucky and it will come with Sequoia.

If you bought it prior to late September it comes with sequoia in the box

Mines did, because I bought my Mac in July.

I think now they’ll come with macOS Tahoe.

Lmk once your Mac gets shipped. If it’s on Tahoe you’ll need to use Apple Configurator to install it or use macOS recovery and boot sequoia off a USB drive

Nothing to do with announcements. The version of macOS is the latest version available at time of manufacture.
