Hey Guys,

I'm having some problems fixing the "red light" issue because I am getting no audio on my internal speakers. I used a plastic pic and pushed some stuff around in the jack but nothing is happening?

What exactly do I have to push? Is it that small metal plate inside the bottom of the jack? Do I have to lift it or push it?

Thanks,
Sam

If you search the forums, many times you'll find the answer you're looking for in an existing thread, such as this one.

Sorry forgot to indicate that I DID SEARCH the forums and read the 200 threads on this subject. I resolve the problem with what I found...

What I'm asking is where this "switch/sensor" is located in the jack... So I don't have to go around jamming everthing with a toothpic.

Sam,

EDIT: Solved problem... took out the sound card and cleaned it out.
