MBP release before or after Lion

Am wondering if the MBP is most likely going to be up dated before or after apple releases Lion
 
Before. Lion is still months away while MBPs should be updated in couple of months. Besides, Apple likes to update computers before OS release so buyers will be forced to pay for the upgrade (easy money for them)

Staggered releases don't see to have been an issue to them in the past. Seems like the thought of having the latest OS would be a big push towards buying a new Mac but it doesn't really matter. The upgrade fee for 10.6 was very reasonable and if you buy the hardware not too long before the 10.7, you get a free upgrade.
 
Definitely before, Lion is still a ways off, there haven't been any betas released, and the MBP is due for an update soon, probably in February. That said, nobody knows for sure so it could be after, but that is unlikely.

War gives u the idea that it is feb. People predict that it is around march/april.

It's due for an update now, but it is too soon after Christmas, so I think they will wait for February, I'm not sure if all of the hardware will have been officially released by intel, but Apple has gotten chips early in the past. However, that is just a guess, I don't have any inside information.
