I am using a 2009 15in MBP and want to refresh with a new MBPr. I am a general user but I work with Aperture and do some video work. I have always bought the fastest machine with greatest amount of storage and grow into it over the 4 years I keep my computers.
My question is, how much is enough? I don't want to be sorry after two years and wish I had spend a little more. Will I see a difference, honestly, between the 2.0 and 2.8 GHZ? Between 8 and 16 GRAM?
I don't mind spending the money, but don't want to buy capability that I honestly do not need over the next four years.
