MBP RETINA Scrolling PDFs terrible and jerky

Hey, I'm trying to scroll through a PDF document in safari and preview and the experience is awful and jerky.

Is there a fix for this?

Yes use skim

Use skim it is an excellent PDF reader and annotator, it uses far less resources than preview.
