MBP running OS 10.7.5

Hello,
Quick question, I have an older MBP running OS 10.7.5 some of my newer software will not install.

If I update to OS X will I still be able to run CS5 Photoshop?

I don't want to change the OS unless absolutely necessary...

Well it looks like you can get it working in yosemite but it takes a little work.
