I have 2011 MBP 17" and i am currently looking to cop an external display for my MBP.

I was hovering my finger over the Apple Thunderbolt Display - when i came across this monitor:
Samsung SyncMaster T27A950

Since i desire a larger monitor not require one - i.e. I am not a photographer and do not need the insanely amazing res on the 27" TBD

I also desire to have a 3D LED TV in my bedroom and this monitor seems to be a nice solution for monitor + TV + 3dTV display.
The samsung apps are fab and i love to stream youtube, bbc-iplayer directly on the TV
TBH this monitor is very reasonably priced and negates the need to update my current 46" TV in my living-room Samasung 46" LED 8000 series (non-3D)

The cons, i have my display setting at max - 1920x1200
I will be using my only TB port to connect to the samsung Display (via HDMI adapter), whereas, the apple TBD allows for daisy-chaining! Currently, with the absence of consumer level TB peripherals, this port is currently redundant, but for how long?

Or, i could get the TB display, and wait till the next gen 3d-TVs arrive!

If anyone has experience of the Samsung SyncMaster T27A950 with a MBP, i would appreciate your comments -

Thanks
