I have a MBP 2.2mhz model. I have this weird problem with my screen, when I press the bottom left corner of my screen a vertical solid green line appears on the screen. I found this out when I was trying to clean the screen while it was on with a soft cloth. Is this normal? I know that my current model and others older MBP have some kind of video card problem that was recalled by Apple. My manufactures warrenty that came with my MBP is over in February '09 and was wondering if I should send it in to get it fixed?

If the Apple service center is not miles away, why not let them take a look at it? I'm pretty sure it is not normal and might get worse later on.

search for my old posts

you need to take it in and they will replace the whole LCD without a problem
