MBP screen is .25 grey-blue

I cracked my screen is Afghanistan, Instead of sending it in and getting the screen replaced I decided to do it on my own. Used a Blow dryer to melt adhesive and removed the original screen, Didnt have to replace LCD screen. I put new screen on. And now a quarter of my 15'' screen is a grey-blue and my full screen can not be seen. I dont know if maybe its from overheating the LCD or what not. Any help with this would be appreciated before I take this thing apart again.. PLEASE!
