Hey everyone.

My girlfriend's macbook pro's screen is going wacky. Whenever you move the screen it'll get weird flashes of green, red, or blue pixels or lines all over the screen. It's actually hard to get it to be just normal but it can get there. Also, it may go black completely or if she shuts it, there's a good chance it will stay black when re-opening.

Here are some pictures from my imgur account.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is something I could fix? Anyone have the same problem and know exactly what's wrong? The most technical things I have done are build my pc(with a lot of help), take apart/re-assemble my gamecube, and replace the case and bottom screen of my DS.

Thanks for the help,

Probably the cable(s) from the logic board to the screen, they go through the hinge, might be damaged there.
I had this on an old Powerbook, whenever I moved the screen I got exactly what you describe, move it to much and it shuts off completely.
