MBP screen went crazy but now it's fine

Hi, I have a 2.2ghz mbp that I bought in July 2007 and had no problems with it till today. During class, the screen started to flicker and these vertical lines just appeared stretched across the screen. I rebooted, didn't work. I thought it'd be the graphics card but I went home and plugged in my external monitor and it was fine on there. I just booked a reservation with a genius for tomorrow, but now suddenly the screen is working again. I still want to bring it in for repairs but will they turn me away unless they see an immediate problem? I still have 1 year left on my apple care but I don't want to wait for the problem to appear again. I was too slow to take and pics. Suggestions?
