What is the exact size screwdriver you need to remove the bottom off of the MBP?

Thanks for correcting me. It is indeed true, that you have to use those Philips #00s.

Spin is spot on. Although I used my electronic (tool set I got for repairing photo-eye's on a production conveyor system) set 2.0 Philips and compared it to the regular 00. It's the same size. Grainger.com has awesome sets!

To remove the screws from the bottom of the MBP, you use a Phillips #00.
The Torx T6 is what you use to remove the four screws from the sides of the hard drive.

OK, now I don't feel like a Homer.....................

No 4 screws on the side of my 2010 HD. ??? Just two small (00) phillips-head screws that hold down the clamp/brace.

Replaced the HD with a crucial SSD. That little MBP is a screamer now.
