Does anyone have any information/experience with the shells for your MBP? I had thought about getting one for my MBP but I have read issues of the cases scratching the laptop as well as the plastic clips holding the case snapping off after a month or two. Seeing as how most of these cases are around $40-$50, I just wanted to see if this was a good idea or if I should just say screw it and get a sleeve instead. Thanks.

As I dont have a MBP yet I can't speak from personal experience, but I have watched countless hours of videos on cases and I can tell you most go for a hard shell case called the Speck See Thru (Satin or not, both offer the same protection.) This is what I'm getting when i recieve my MBP

I have a 15" MBP with a Speck See Thru case. Its the clear plastic model.
I have had it over a year now. No problems whatsoever. Not noticed any scratched on the machine, but I never take it out the case so can not say that I have actually looked.
It's a must have case to protect your machine.
